Episode 6: Clash of Titans: Celestial Rumble
Burakkuhōru tamashī tensei: Kyōju no tamashī ga i sekai ni suikomareru VI
A tremendous power, a
blinding light, awakened the inhabitants of all the kingdoms in Aerca. They
were left stunned by the destruction of the Tavanise moon, which had been under
the control of Tava/Taf, the brother of the demon king Sova, since 1500 BO (Before
Ovazhila). This event had long influenced the culture of Aerca and now had the
potential to ignite a major conflict. Sova appeared behind Yorian, delivering a
sudden blow while saying, "You damn idiot."
Yorian realized his
mistake and tried to apologize, as the destruction of the Tavanise moon was
beyond his expectation.
"Calm down, man.
I'm sorry for my stupidity," he said, trying to soothe Sova.
"You're a
professor, you should think more, you fool! This could start a goddamn
war!" Sova said, enraged.
"Relax. I know
the solution. System recovery—" Yorian began.
"Hey, stupid,
that's going to cost a huge amount of energy," Sova scoffed.
"Well, you're the
strongest entity in the universe. Why don't you do the recovery yourself?"
Yorian asked.
"It's pointless.
She already knows, and it's still going to cause trouble," Sova replied.
"And you'd better
not go to the academy for a while. It's too dangerous because Tava can detect
you," Sova advised.
"Hmm, I know
that. But she isn't an overly angry person, right?" Yorian asked.
"When she's
angry, she's really angry. But when she's kind, she's really kind. But for this
case, I think it's different," Sova said.
"Then why don't I
try? I'm still going to school," Yorian stated.
"Fine, but I'll
secretly accompany you," Sova conceded.
"Alright, I'll go
find my sister—" Yorian said.
"Boo!"
Ariana said, startling him.
"GAH! Stop doing
that, you almost gave me a heart attack!" Yorian exclaimed in surprise.
"Hehe, I was just
messing around. Are you going to school? It looks like the sun is about to rise
in Ltiktra," Ariana said.
With Ariana now by his
side, they flew at high speed, like a falling meteor, towards Yuntanglian
Academy. They landed just outside the academy gates. Yorian adjusted
his Academy robes, the slim-fit fabric settling perfectly over his frame.
His silver spiky hair caught the sunlight as he turned, heterochromatic
eyes—right golden-orange, left violet—scanning the panicking crowd with
characteristic stoicism. where they could hear people talking about
the destroyed Tavanise moon.
They were in a panic,
fearing that this was an attack from the Va tribe and could lead to a great war
like in the past. Yorian hoped the war wouldn't reach Aelonisova. He simply
walked past them.
Ariana and Yorian
chatted as they headed to the hall where the new students would have their
power levels checked. Upon arriving, they took their seats and listened to the
headmaster's welcoming speech for the students who had passed the written exam.
The headmaster stepped
onto the podium, looking at the rows of young faces filled with hope and
nervousness. The hall was quiet, with only the occasional whisper.
"Welcome, honored
students of Yuntanglian," the headmaster's voice boomed, yet it was
gentle. "I offer my highest praise to all of you. You have successfully
passed the written examination, the first filter that tests your intellect and
knowledge."
He paused, his gaze
sweeping across the room. His expression, usually calm, now carried a hint of a
heavy burden.
"However, as we
have all witnessed... the sky above Aelonisova has changed," he continued,
his voice lowering. "One of our two loyal guardians of the night is gone.
This cosmic event that shook our sky is a reminder that this world is full of
uncertainty, and the challenges that await are far greater than we could have
ever imagined."
"Yuntanglian
Academy was founded not only to sharpen your power but also to forge your
character, wisdom, and readiness for all possibilities. Today, we begin the
second phase: the power check."
"Do not see this
as a judgment of yourselves. See it as the first step to understanding your
true potential. The machine you are about to use is a tool to identify your
attributes and power levels, helping our instructors design the most suitable
path for each individual."
"The future of
Aelonisova, and the balance of this universe, rests in your hands. Show us your
best potential. And remember, the greatest power is not one that can destroy,
but one that can protect. Good luck."
The headmaster ended
his speech and left the podium, gesturing to the staff to begin the power
checking process.
One by one, the
students stepped up for their power check. As expected, most were at levels
1-5, which was normal for children aged 4-8. They continued until it was
Yorian's sister Ariana's turn. She walked forward, cheerful and optimistic,
towards the large stone block.
Ariana placed her hand
on the block, and the teacher instructed her to release her power. She did, and
the machine nearly shattered, radiating an immense aura of energy. The auras of
water, earth, wind, fire, light, and darkness astonished everyone.
When the staff checked
the results, they were shocked. The machine had hit its maximum limit: level
30. Everyone was equally surprised, as it meant Ariana was at the peak of the
Kilyasyiq Hanxuan (Senior Student Realm), a level incredibly high for her age.
Ariana was overjoyed
and even flicked Yorian's forehead.
"See? I'm
stronger than you," she said smugly.
"Ariana, I
haven't even shown you my power yet," Yorian said, a vein pulsing on his
forehead.
Suddenly, people
turned to look at someone with a strong scent of perfume. Yorian saw her. He
didn't know who she was, but from the students' whispers behind him, he heard
she was Princess Que Yanwe Lin of the Ltiktra Kingdom, considered the royal
family's golden child.
She glanced at Ariana
and then turned away haughtily, which annoyed Ariana, but Yorian stopped her
from reacting.
When it was Yanwe's
turn, she placed her hand on the stone block and released her power with great
force, unleashing an aura of Heicain Masu Yooy Oyyo (Sacred Fire Smoke Fog
Flame) in a foggy white color. The sight left all the students stunned.
The result was level
25 Kilyasyiq Hanxuan, a mid-tier level. Although level 25 was a high rank,
Yanwe was furious, feeling defeated by someone she didn't even know. Ariana,
being mischievous, began to mock her.
An angry Yanwe
unleashed Heicain Masu Yooy Oyyo, which Ariana countered with her own Heicain
Ma (Sacred Fire Flame). The clash of the two attacks terrified the onlookers
until the headmaster intervened, scolding Ariana.
Ariana and Yanwe
stared at each other with intense hatred. When they were told to shake hands to
end the dispute, they did so, but continued to release their fire auras, their
hatred still palpable.
Annoyed, Yorian
stepped between them to break them up. Ariana was upset at first, until he
flicked her forehead to get her to stop causing trouble, especially in front of
someone with such high status as Yanwe.
Then, he turned
around, bowed, and apologized to Yanwe. Yanwe was still angry at first, but
after a moment, she accepted, though she still clearly hated Ariana.
The staff had
forgotten about Yorian, and they quickly told him to come forward. He walked to
the block, and the teacher told him to release all his power. He obeyed.
Yorian unleashed his
powers: gravity, which made everyone feel an immense pressure; creation (strong
and weak nuclear forces), which generated intense heat; electromagnetism, which
made the surrounding metal vibrate and produce electricity; and finally, light
and darkness, which manifested as a Yin-Yang symbol under his feet.
The immense energy he
released made the large stone block tremble violently, emitting a blinding
light. Everyone was blinded for a moment, and then a loud bang echoed as the
stone block instantly shattered, leaving the staff bewildered.
"We don't know
what your level is, but it seems you are at Kilyasyiq Tǎocein or even
higher."
Everyone was shocked.
Yorian turned to look at the other students; most of them were terrified of
him, but he didn't care. Yanwe, however, showed a clear interest in his power.
But soon after, the
conditions outside grew strange. A sacred, immense power descended, its sheer
weight pressing down on everyone, forcing them to their knees as if under the
gaze of a god. The air grew heavy, thick with a mysterious, overwhelming presence.
A demonic figure
emerged from a portal that opened out of nowhere. But unlike other demons, he
looked like a normal human, not a strange shape like Sova. He descended calmly,
yet carried a massive amount of energy. Yorian could feel the incredibly rich Quts
emanating from him.
"Your Majesty,
SD.CAP (Supremo Deliberatus CAPAPASTAF) DS.CAP (Divinum Supremus CAPAPASTAF)
Tava, what are you doing here?" the headmaster asked softly.
"Are you aware of
what you do not know? That someone who destroyed the Tavanise moon is
here?" Tava said in a serious voice.
Yorian remained calm,
hoping it would keep him from being discovered, but Tava was able to deduce
that he was the culprit. He pulled Yorian with gravity, choking his neck. This
infuriated Ariana, who immediately attacked Tava with her six magical attributes.
But it was useless; Tava simply swatted her away with his aura.
Yanwe, who was shocked
to see Yorian being choked, suddenly joined the attack, which surprised
everyone. But she denied it, claiming her fire was unstable. Yorian knew from
her body language—glancing around, fidgeting with her hands and feet—that she
was lying and had an ulterior motive.
Yorian looked at her
face more closely, wondering if the slight redness was from her makeup or
something else. He was confused, and then Tava distracted him.
"Who is this? Is
she someone who loves you? It's interesting to have two people with six
attributes. Who gave them to you?" Tava asked.
"What if I told
you it was your brother?" Yorian replied.
"Sova? Ah, I
should have known. That bastard brother of mine gave you the fundamental
attributes too, and now he wants to start a war with his heir? Oh, I see,"
Tava said.
"I apologize, but
there seems to be a misunderstanding. I did not intend to start a war by
destroying the Tavanise moon. I was only protecting it from some unknown aliens
who wanted to attack, and I accidentally destroyed it while fighting them,"
Yorian answered.
"Aliens? Where
did you learn about the word 'advanced civilization' in the library of the
divine realm? And you should know, if those aliens really exist, they are an
empire that was once banished. I don't even know if that empire still exists,
but I don't care. You are still his heir," Tava said, ready to decapitate
him.
But before it all
happened, Sova's voice appeared, mocking Tava.
"Hey, you idiot,
he's telling the truth. And that bastard empire, banished by the 15th demon
king, has really returned."
"If that empire
is alive, it's an alliance for me against you. Don't insult them! And this boy
is an idiot. The empire that opposes the Va tribe would never attack
Aelonisova," Tava said.
"Oh dear, this
story is getting long. And stop talking so much about that empire. Release
him," Sova commanded.
"You've always
been the same kind of bastard, you son of a bitch," Tava said, furious.
"Hey, remember
how you always lost to me? And you would always ask for help from our ancestor
Ova when you lost," Sova taunted.
Enraged, Tava, who was
only quietly holding back his emotions, moved and with a single punch nearly
destroyed the wall and killed the people behind Sova, if not for Tava
activating a protective shield.
"I'm only holding
back with one hand, and even though you moved me a little, you're still weak,
Tava," Sova said cockily, making Tava even more furious.
They then teleported
to another place in outer space.
"This is a good
place to fight, isn't it?" Sova said.
"You know, I'm
not playing around this time, you bastard brother," Tava said, delivering
a powerful punch.
The force of his punch
was enough to send Sova flying several light-years away, but Sova only chuckled
before punching back even harder. They continuously exchanged blows, creating
gravitational waves that struck many celestial bodies around them.
They moved quickly
from a solar system to other star systems, to nebulae, black holes, and even to
other galaxies. Tava attacked with magical spells, using his light attribute,
but Sova countered it, then pressed Tava with gravity.
Tava managed to escape
and hit Sova hard in the face, using a magic formation to chain Sova, but it
failed. Then Tava used another magic formation to fire more magical attacks.
This continued until Sova finally retaliated with a darkness formation against
Tava's light formation, which exploded with devastating force.
Their battle lasted
for so long that after several days of fighting, they ran out of Quts and
decided to make peace. But Tava still remembered the destruction of Tavanise
and threatened Sova before returning to the divine realm.
(To be continued)
