Episode 13: Interaction with the God Ruler of the "Realm of The Void"

In the previous episode, Yorian had to face the bitterness of only being able to meet his past parents for a brief moment, and Arborvanus recounted Yorian’s dark past.

In this episode, Yorian competes in an international tournament, which also serves as a graduation exam for the 22nd semester in the Nolkei field (research). However, unexpectedly, a mysterious entity kidnaps him to another world because of his technology.

Main Story:

After I said those words, I left. Ariana followed, and a second later, Arborvanus released a divine aura that fluctuated across the galaxy. Ariana and I were startled.

“Relax, I’m just spreading my seeds,” Arborvanus said.

Ariana was still shocked, but I focused more on Paxtorovutra. I urged Ariana to board quickly. I invited Arborvanus to join us, but he said:

“You go ahead; I’m still looking for a suitable place to settle.”

I finally let Arborvanus find his home, and Ariana and I returned to Aelonisova. Upon arrival, I went back to the academy, which seemed to be in chaos.

“What’s going on?” I asked one of the students.

“Kon... Kontra... that empire has returned with technology that surpasses everything,” the student said, trembling.

“Oh... so why are you so scared?” I asked again.

The student explained that Kontra was prepared to attack the world and had made a wager with Yuntanglian. If Yuntanglian’s academy failed, the world would be in danger.

I was puzzled about Draven’s motives for such a wager, but knowing it could be dangerous, I prepared to go to the international competition at the Kontra Empire in the capital, Ranxara.

I was amazed by the capital, Ranxara, and confused at how it could perfectly replicate the capital of the old world I once ruled.

I then focused on the competition venue for the Nolkei branch. There, I finally understood why the Yuntanglian students were anxious because the representative from the Rantra academy, named Ran Azu, a child of a government official, showcased a weapon of mass destruction technology.

The CAPAPASTAF council members, clan leaders of the continent, and other participants who were spectators were all shocked, as the power of the weapon was almost identical to the event 14 years ago. They suspected that Kontra was behind it.

However, in addition to the weapon of mass destruction, Ran Azu presented another weapon similar to one I had demonstrated three years ago, but with more complexity. These two weapons were named Ran Clan and Va Tribe Destroyer, and Mysterious Runes Laser Weapon.

The weapon of mass destruction used Ran clan and Va tribe techniques, as well as my runes, perfected to be ten times more lethal. I had no problem as long as the references were provided, but I was puzzled about how they obtained the Va tribe technique, which was heavily guarded by the two strongest Va.

Before I could answer that question in my mind, I was called the second person to present. I went on stage, and the VVIP audience (CAPAPASTAF council members, clan leaders, and leaders of empires and kingdoms across Aerca), VIPs, and other participants were eager, as my name had become very popular in the field of technology.

I then showcased technology capable of connecting the Hyperverse/AllOmniverse, or in this world known as the "Realm of The Void Omniverses"—referred to as The Void—to another Void using Quts in a highly efficient manner.

I asked Ran Yoezi for help by lending his magic attribute to keep the temperature of the ten formations, two complex machines, and one quantum computer below -271 degrees Celsius, as Ran Yoezi’s attribute happened to be an Extreme Ice Attribute with a temperature of -273.15 degrees Celsius.

However, Ran Yoezi refused, as lending a magic attribute was akin to lending one’s soul to another, which left me troubled since the crucial part of the Portal of The Void was missing. But I remembered one thing, though it was dangerous—using a Quts capsule would be an excellent way to reduce the temperature to 0 Kelvin.

Although the effect could be a Quts explosion capable of destroying an entire Kontra Empire, I was willing to take that risk to open the portal between Voids. Gradually, Quts energy and electricity flowed through the entire complex portal system, activating all machines and causing the temperature to rise.

As the temperature increased, I released the excess Quts energy into the atmosphere, creating a massive Quts barrier 1,000 feet tall, with pressure and temperature rapidly decreasing.

Once the temperature had dropped sufficiently, I activated the quantum computer, executing the final mission of activating the portal. Slowly, I input the activation code and portal coordinates, and finally...

The machine successfully opened a portal, revealing another world—my old world, which had been devastated since the global leader’s death 14 years ago.

I stood in silence, staring at the chaotic portal, but I couldn't stay long, as the Quts capsule could explode due to the uncontrollable Creation Attribute, so I shut down all the machines.

Applause echoed throughout the hall, as this discovery meant that humanity could not only travel between planets, galaxies, and universes but also between Voids. The applause suddenly stopped when the back of the hall distorted.

A figure in white robes, with an abstract and distorted body, emitted a divine aura that even the VVIPs couldn’t withstand. The entire world darkened, gravity disappeared, and the laws of physics collapsed as the figure moved toward the stage.

Each step made the very universe tremble, until the distorted figure stood before me and placed its hand on my back.

“Hahaha, you are a smart human. It was not in vain that I accepted Omni Hoen's request to shelter you in that universe. Finally, the 9th Level will become a reality,” the figure said joyfully.

“Wh... who are you? What’s your purpose here?” I asked.

“Just as I expected. 2.82 million years have passed since I last appeared, so you don’t recognize me,” the figure replied.

“Are you the one mentioned by Sova and Tava as the ancestor?” I asked.

“That’s correct, but I can’t stay long. Hand over that technology; I need it,” the figure ordered.

“No... I won’t...” I said, feeling dizzy.

The divine aura continued to suppress me, even causing my soul immense pressure, nearly making me lose consciousness, before the feeling suddenly disappeared.

“Where am I? Why is it so dark here? Am I dead?” I asked, confused as I looked around.

“You are now in the Realm of The Void, a realm only visible to 26-dimensional beings. That’s why this world is often referred to as The Void in your books, the place where gods reside,” the figure said.

“The Outside?” I asked.

“You’re correct. In your world, many people call it The Outside. Now, will you give us your technology?” the figure asked.

“What is your real name?” I asked.

“You’re very curious, but we will answer only if you give us your technology,” the figure offered.

“What is your purpose for this technology, and what is the 9th Level?” I asked.

“Very well, since you insist, we’ll explain. We are Omni Va, a Type 8 civilization and the strongest in the Realm of The Void. We seek technology to achieve the 9th Level, a level beyond our current state as a Type 8 civilization,” the figure replied.

I was still hesitant about the Omni. Knowing its name only made me more doubtful, as I sensed that giving it the technology wouldn’t end well.

Suddenly, I felt another divine aura, although weaker than Omni Va’s.

“Omni Va, what are you doing with the weak creature beside you? Are you so starved for souls that you devour the weak?” asked the new figure.

“Omni Syang, it’s not that we’re out of souls. If we were, you seven would have been long destroyed. We’re merely seeking a way to reach the 9th Level.”

“Keep dreaming, Va. You’ll never surpass the 8th Level. Even our combined strength only cracked the barrier, and it healed when we ran out of energy.”

“We must become one with the true Omni. We have devoured 993 Omnis, but to achieve perfection, we need seven more—namely, you. However, you are all as powerful as us, so I chose another way: the technology of this boy.”

“You’re insane, Va. A mere technology from a mortal? You must have lost your mind.”

“I don’t care. I will try it. Hey, where is that machine?”

I had no choice but to hand over the technology to the Omni, unable to resist the overwhelming pressure. After adjusting the machine according to the quantum computer’s instructions and channeling divine Quts energy, a massive boom echoed from the edge of The Void.

It turned out that the explosion was the result of using the machine to penetrate The Void on a grander, more terrifying scale, shattering the barrier that had held the Omnis back for trillions of years. They were finally free.

“I told you, Omni Syang, we could break through.”

However, after Omni Va spoke, the barrier re-formed, and an unknown force struck them, forcing Omni Va to take several steps back, shocking them.

Omni Syang, seeing Omni Va attacked, was also shocked, as there was nothing strong enough to rival Omni Va. The second strongest was themself (Omni Syang), and even they struggled against Omni Va.

Driven

by anger, Omni Va unleashed all of their divine Quts energy toward the barrier, causing the machine to melt and 90% of the barrier to collapse, exposing the outside of The Void.

Suddenly, the barrier healed itself, and a powerful force struck Omni Va, nearly killing them. Omni Syang quickly helped Omni Va, even though they knew Omni Va was an enemy.

After that, I regained consciousness in Aelonisova, surrounded by people in the ruins, including my beloved younger sister, Ariana.

“Brother! Thank goodness you’re alive!” Ariana exclaimed, hugging me tightly.

I could only smile at her while others began questioning what had happened. I tried to avoid revealing the truth to prevent global panic.

“It was just a minor failure. I will compensate for the damage to the continent,” I said.

“What was that black figure?” someone asked.

“Um, that was just a singularity pulled in by the quantum machine,” I replied, trying to cover it up.

I tried to keep things hidden before the council members, clan leaders, and rulers of various kingdoms and empires also gathered around me.

“Are you hiding something?” Draven said, smiling at me.

“Do you think I’m lying?” I asked.

“Hahaha, but I can read your mind, including that black figure named Omni Va,” Draven said, trying to corner me.

“Omni who? Is that even in history, or are you just making up lies, you foolish manipulator?” I retorted, mocking Draven.

After I said that, everyone laughed and agreed, as no one in history had mentioned an Omni before. People laughed at the Contra Emperor trying to frame a child.

“Oh my, Contra Emperor, yesterday you provoked the CAPAPASTAF leader, and now a child?” one CAPAPASTAF staff member remarked.

“Shut up, I’m not lying. If I were, my mental strength wouldn’t be able to counter his,” Draven said seriously, emitting a terrifying aura.

“Hmph... A mental duel?” I responded, unleashing my mental strength toward Draven.

Draven was startled but retaliated. Our mental clash caused the entire ruins to shake as if two gods were battling. Though the minor earthquake could be stopped, Draven and I were both thrown back. However, Draven showed his advantage as someone a half-step into the Fuva realm, proving he was stronger. But since we both fell back, people only mocked the Contra Emperor even more.

Draven remained calm before sending everyone flying with a single wave of his mental power. I decided not to linger any longer and returned to the dorm Quqi department, but Draven blocked my way.

"Yorian, where did you get your mental strength when you only have five attributes?" Draven asked.

"Shut up, you foolish emperor. You're just trash that won't understand the meaning of mental attributes," I provoked.

"You're a savage brat!" Draven replied angrily.

But with just one finger, I managed to hold back Draven, shocking everyone except for the council members who knew Yorian understood the weaknesses of the Contra Emperor.

"Emperor? You're so weak! You're also very foolish! You know you have psychic attributes, but you can't control them. If I were you, I’d be so embarrassed, hahaha! That's why my mental age is 1000 years!" I provocatively added.

"Bastard! How do you know my weakness?" Draven said angrily.

I didn't care about Draven and, with just one attack, sent him flying far away. I finally managed to calm down as I headed to the dorm before my little sister suddenly appeared, startling me.

“This is the boys’ dorm. Go back,” I ordered.

“I want to be with you, brother. We haven’t slept together in so long,” Ariana said sadly.

“Oh my... fine, but if we get caught, don’t blame me,” I said.

As I expected, Ariana began to look a bit lewd in the middle of the night (due to the knowledge I had given her too quickly). Slowly, she crept under the blanket and was below me, but before anything could happen, a sound came from outside. It turned out to be an assassin sent by Draven.

The figure entered my dorm, but I was shocked to see Ariana’s behavior toward me. He apologized, thinking he had the wrong person, but before he left, I spoke.

“Let me guess, you were sent by the Contra Emperor to keep his reputation intact, right?” I said to the assassin.

Before the assassin could respond, Ariana emerged from under the blanket, furious, and unleashed her powerful Quts, punching the assassin in the face so hard that he was thrown out of the dorm, breaking the wall.

“You bastard, you ruined my plan! I won’t forgive you even if you’re ten levels above me!” Ariana shouted angrily.

Ariana moved quickly, summoning dozens of runes around her body and punching the assassin until his chest bones cracked, followed by his arms and legs.

I was shocked that Ariana could use her formation abilities and fight someone ten times stronger than her. Even I couldn’t use runes as effectively as Ariana in combat.

Ariana wasn’t done. She healed the assassin and repeated the same punishment ten times, making him scream in agony. Ariana then prepared something else.

She summoned even more runes, using all her attributes to unleash her final attack, Yin Yang Elemental. Yin and yang appeared beneath the assassin’s miserable body, followed by fire, wind, stone, and sharp, hot ice.

The stability of the assassin’s soul and body began to vanish, and his existence grew faint, signaling his impending death as his soul was captured and consumed by Ariana.

“Ariana, how could you be so cruel as to consume a soul?” I asked, shocked and angry.

“Brother, he was a scoundrel. Rather than be condemned in hell forever, I might as well eat his soul to grow stronger,” Ariana said, satisfied.
